Dublin Kayak Club was established in 2024 by a group of like-minded friends all from different corners of Dublin.
Our primary training area spans from Leixlip Bridge to Strawberry Hall pub along the Strawberry Beds on the River Liffey. This stretch offers excellent conditions for all three disciplines, enabling members to develop their skills year-round.
Membership with DKC includes a Canoeing Ireland registration, access to club coaching, and the opportunity to join trips across Ireland and internationally.

Aerial moves, spins, and trick-based paddling on whitewater features. Practiced at the Strawberry Beds sluice wave.
Sea / Touring
Longer distance paddling along Ireland's coastline and inland waterways. Day trips and multi-day expeditions.
Whitewater
River running on Grade II-IV water across Ireland. Regular trips to the Liffey, Avonmore, and international venues.
